i chased a rainbow and found a pot of gold. well, practically, but it's even better because i didn't have to do any chasing to find this goodness... tiny prints contacted me and offered me free christmas cards. and if you know about tiny prints, you know how awesome they are; i was completely thrilled and couldn't wait to place my order. they were so easy to work with, the cards arrived exactly one week after i placed my order (super fast) and i'm beyond satisfied with the quality... all the way down to the red envelopes and address labels. every bit and piece of their work is superb. if you need christmas cards or anything picture related (they have loads to choose from!!!), they are the b-e-s-t. period.

in the meantime, let's talk cards. christmas cards, in fact. christmas is beautiful to me. it's all about celebrating the Savior's birth. i think a lot about mary, Jesus' mother, during this season. she was so trusting and willing, able, and ready to serve God without questions. when the angel appeared to mary to tell her of the virgin birth, her response was full of humility:

“Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her. -Luke 1:38 ESV

wow. no wonder why she had found favor with the Lord. and now, in this point in history, we know that mary gave birth to the Servant King, JESUS, who bore our sins and shame as He was nailed to the cross. we celebrate His birth that led to the Salvation of the world. this Truth and Reality is the reason to celebrate Christmas! so bring on the celebration, cards and all!

i love cards that proclaim this reason for the season and say MERRY CHRISTMAS!

oh for goodness sakes... this one happens to be my fave!
